For 17 years, I’ve been the one behind the scenes making Christmas morning magical, every snowy footprint, every half-eaten carrot, every sleigh bell “lost in the rush.”

It’s messy, it’s chaotic… but the wide eyes in the morning make it worth it.

But last year, when we almost forgot to create that magic for my niece and nephew, it hit me: parents are carrying too much already. Why should one of the best parts of Christmas be another stress?
